Dr Laurent Germain is Professor of Finance at Toulouse Business School, of which he is a former student. He obtained his PhD in finance in 1997 at the Toulouse School of Economics. He completed his thesis at the London Business School where he was a professor. A graduate of the International Teachers' Program at New York University, he joined Toulouse Business School in 2000 and received his authorization to supervise research from Paris-Dauphine in 2005. He is one of the regional delegates of the French Institute of Directors (IFA), has been elected to the Board of the European Financial Management Association, and was an academic fellow of the Europlace Institute of Finance.
